ABOUT OUR END GRAIN CUTTING BOARDS:

We only use the ends of the hardwoods we use in studio, trying to be more environmentally and economically conscience. The walnut is hand selected at a local lumber mill. The cutting boards are end grain because we believe they are more durable and more forgiving to your knives, having a “self-healing” factor, as the fibers close up after they’ve been cut by a knife.

The boards photographed are not guaranteed to be one of boards you will receive. Yours will be made in the same style with its own character and charm.

Care: Hand wash with warm water and soap only, then towel dry immediately or stand on end. DO NOT put the cutting board in the dishwasher. We recommend conditioning your cutting board with food safe mineral oil once every couple of months.
